Important note: This class will only take place if it has at least 4 students signed up on or before Sunday, November 14th. If the class is cancelled due to low registration, any students who have paid will receive a full refund for the class.

Class Hours Each Day: 9am-4pm

Prerequisite: None – This is a class for absolute beginners.

Tuition: $425.00 (Includes use of all tools and materials used in the class)

The beginning jewelry student will start by learning to use a jeweler’s saw, embossing and texturing metal, riveting, and using some simple cold connections. The second day will be devoted to the Smith Little Torch. The student will start the basics of soldering wire of different gauges as well as sheets of different thicknesses. By the end of the second day, the student is expected to produce a ring using the skills learned in the 2 days of instruction.

COVID Precautions/Requirements: Class size is limited to allow social distancing. All students must provide certification of having completed the COVID vaccination process. Masks required.
