In this Jewelry 2 class, we will create a versatile ring that offers many different variations. Men, women, or unisex, depending on students interpretation and design. James calls it a saddle ring because of the band that connects the two ends of the shank. Usually a stone is applied to the saddle, but variations on the saddle and other considerations make for a very unique and handsome ring. Techniques covered will be fabrication, stone setting, texturing, and riveting.
Prerequisite: Jewelry I or previous jewelry experience. Please email the studio with questions.
