Jewelry II: Reticulation Earrings January 27-28, 2024
January 27 @ 9:00 am - January 28 @ 4:00 pm
$450.00Reticulation is a technique involving depletion gilding and texturing silver with a torch. Results can vary from wrinkles to moonscapes. Unfortunately reticulated metal does not like to be reheated and does not respond well to solder. However, it responds very well to cold connections, allowing the work to showcase the textured highlights. Cold connections learned in jewelry I will be expanded upon to create a pair of reticulated earrings with lots of movement.
