The wells formed when the two silver sheets are joined will then be filled with powdered glass/enamel. The piece will then be fired in a jewelry kiln to melt the powdered glass/enamel.
Students should come into this class with experience with a jeweler’s saw and soldering silver. Intro to Cloisonne and Advanced Cloisonne are suggested pre-requisites. James Carter may allow students with comparable experience elsewhere to enroll. Please contact the studio for clarification.
