In Jewelry III, students will learn more advanced metal forming and wire bending. Forming is turning metal from a flat plate into a three dimensional shape. Wire bending will involve forging and using the draw plate and the rolling mill to make different sizes and shapes of wire.
Students will be introduced to the dapping punch and disc cutter and they will be used to create beads. Two discs will be shaped into domes and they will be soldered together. 3 or 4 beads will be completed. Once the bead is created, the students will decorate them with the wires that they have created and complete beading necklaces or bracelets.
Class size limited to 4 students.
